Chelsea 4 Ajax 4 match review

Chelsea stunned the dutch champions Ajax in an epic Champions league clash . The blues came back from 4 goals to 1 to pull out a magnificent draw . Chelsea walked into the match with a home and psychological advantage after defeating Ajax 1-0 in their own backyard. However the visitors took the lead early courtesy of a free kick from Promes was deflected back into the net via deflection from  Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham .However Chelsea dint stay down for very long as Veltman brought down Pulisic in the penalty area. Jorginho stepped up to take the spot quick and wrong footed Onana and scored to make it 1-1. Chelsea continued to play high up the pitch and almost got their reward too after a cool finish from Tammy was ruled offside. Ajax came back to take the lead after Promes sneaked behind the Chelsea defence and head a mesmerizing cross from Ziyech past the Chelsea shot stopper Kepa . The Dutch giants scored again as Marcos Alonso and Tomori teamed up to concede a silly free kick  which was then beautifully curled in from Ziyech hit the far post and rebounded off the the Chelsea Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as Chelsea went down 3-1 after the end of the first half.
Chelsea started the second half with more positive intent as Kurt Zouma dribbled all the way to the Ajax box only to put it wide for a goal kick. Ajax soon made it 4 as Donny Van de Beek finished from yet another attacking lay off by Ziyech who dominated the game with his quick runs and incredible vision .Frank Lampard's idea of sending Reece James on for Marcos Alonso did go well as Azpilicueta shifted to a Left back Position and tapped one in from James's cross that was directed for Tammy Abraham but the Chelsea forwards touch fell in kindly for the  on rushing Azpilicueta at the far post to reduce the deficit to 4-2
The game then turned on its head as Ajax centre back Blind was sent off as he tripped on  Abraham to get his second yellow of the match  ref however allowed play to continue as Hudson Odois shot hit Veltman's  hand in the penalty area. Things got worse for Ajax as Chelsea was rewarded with a penalty and Veltman was sent off too. Jorginho once again made no mistake from the penalty spot  and tucked another one home to make it 4-3 all of a sudden Chelsea now had the upper hand on Ajax . Chelsea then continued to press high on the 9 man dutch side and completed a stunning comeback as James finished off had hit the bar to become the youngest Chelsea goal Scorer ever
