Tottenham 0 Chelsea 2 match review

A struggling Chelsea prevailed against Tottenham in a heated London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Frank Lampard faced his former manager Jose Mourinho for the first time in the Premier League and it was the apprentice who got the better of his  master in the London derby. Frank Lampard's flexibility to switch to the back 3 system proved to be decisive
The 4 man midfield provided Chelsea with the width going forward and Chelsea got their reward early in the game after Willian took a short corner and linked up brilliantly with  Marcos Alonso to slot one past Gazzaniga to make it 1-0 for the visitors.Chelsea doubled their lead towards the end of the first half .A bizarre challenge from Gazzaniga on Alonso resulted in a Chelsea penalty, Willian stepped up to take the penalty and doubled the advantage.
Tottenham's attackers saw very little of the Chelsea goal as Chelsea centre halves  showed bravery and were rock solid throughout the match .The game got heated in the second half after Heung Min Son was sent off  for violent conduct on Rudiger. Frustrated Tottenham fans started racially abusing Chelsea centre back Rudiger which was followed by a fan throwing trash on Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. Chelsea took all 3 points from a crucial away fixture and will now face Southampton at home on boxing day.
